Brush Lettering

Brush lettering was my first love. Sharing new ways of making/seeing/holding and building confidence through curiosity drives my teaching practice. In Brush Lettering, we begin with the basics, build muscle memory, and see how our hands get more and more familiar with the strokes. Students walk away with an experience exploring letter formation and typography, an understanding of mark-making with ink, gouache, and watercolor. Projects include handmade stationary, boldly lettered wrapping paper, personal mantras, and paper signs.
